Season for meat

Components
  • 1/4 cup of coarse salt
  • 1½ tablespoons of sweet paprika
  • 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
  • Three sprigs of thyme
Setup phase
  1. Thoroughly wash and dry the thyme leaves—the drier they are, the longer the seasoning will last. In a mortar, combine the coarse salt with the stripped thyme, paprika, and cinnamon. Grind well to break down the salt and blend the flavors. Alternatively, you can pulse the ingredients in a blender.
  1. Store in a glass jar with a sealed lid for up to three months. Ideal for seasoning grilled steaks, adding to marinades, or using in cooked dishes.
Cooking ideas

Consider incorporating this spice when making grilled counterfillet steak, muscle stew, white bean casserole, or baked sweet potatoes.
