Bread with tomato

Components
  • One mini baguette (or any bread of your choice)
  • Two fully matured tomatoes
  • Two sprigs of thyme
  • oil as desired
  • Add salt and ground pepper gradually according to your preference.
Mode of preparation
  1. Slice the bread into single portions. Place a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add water with a drizzle of olive oil and place the bread slices with the crust side down. Let them toast for about 2 minutes, then move them to a plate.
  1. Wash and slice the tomatoes into sections. Remove the seeds and grate the pulp from each section using the coarse side of the grater, using the tomato peel to protect your hand.
  2. Place the tomato in a bowl and drizzle with half a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the soaked thyme and season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Serve alongside the bread slices.
