Components
- One 750 ml bottle of sparkling wine
- 1 cup (tea) of strawberries (150 g)
- 1 tea cup of blackberries (120g)
- 1 cup (tea) of raspberries (130g)
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
Setup phase
- Rinse the fruits thoroughly under running water and take off the leaves from the strawberries. In a glass bowl, combine the fruits with the sugar and mix until they start to release juice. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for approximately 45 minutes, allowing the fruits to macerate in the sugar.
- In the meantime, place the prosecco in the fridge so it will be properly chilled when it’s time to serve.
- When serving, put approximately 2 spoons of the macerated fruit at the base of a tall glass, tilt the glass slightly, and then fill it with prosecco—this technique helps keep the drink from mixing too quickly. Serve immediately.
