Chips made from beets

Components
  • Two beets
  • oil as desired
  • Add salt and ground pepper as needed to suit your taste.
Ready state
  1. Set the oven to 180 °C (moderate heat) and allow it to warm up.
  1. Clean, dry, and peel the beets. Using a mandoline or vegetable slicer, thinly slice one beet on a large non-stick baking tray. Arrange the slices in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap and leaving approximately 0.5 cm of space between each piece. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and freshly ground pepper to your preference. Repeat the same steps with the second beet on a separate baking tray.
  2. Place in the oven and bake for approximately 15 minutes until dry. Take out and allow to cool – the chips will become crispy as they cool. Serve afterward.
