Noodles served with melon and uncooked ham

Components
  • 500 grams of fettuccine pasta (or another type of long, firm pasta)
  • Half a melon
  • 400 ml of fresh cream made from milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato concentrate
  • 100 grams of uncooked sliced ham
  • lemon candies
  • Add salt and ground pepper as desired.
Ready state
  1. Heat a large pot with approximately 5 liters of water over high heat. When it reaches a boil, stir in 2 tablespoons of salt and add the noodles. Cook them for the duration specified on the package until they are al dente. In the meantime, get the other ingredients ready.
  1. Remove the seeds and use a melon baller to scoop out balls from the melon flesh (or, if you like, cut the melon into cubes). Tear the ham slices by hand. Set aside.
  2. In a medium-sized pan, combine fresh milk cream, butter, lemon drops, and tomato extract. Stir and cook over low heat. Once it begins to boil, continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes while stirring constantly. Add the melon balls and turub ham, mixing gently. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  3. Once cooked, drain the water and place the noodles in a serving dish. Pour the sauce over and stir thoroughly. Serve immediately.
