Components
- One can of condensed milk (395 g)
- 50 g of dark chocolate containing 70% cocoa
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- One-third of a cup (tea) of cocoa nibs
Mode of preparation
- In a small saucepan, combine butter, condensed milk, and chopped chocolate. Place over medium heat and stir with a silicone spatula until the chocolate and butter have melted.
- Maintain the pan over medium heat and switch from using the spatula to a wire whisk – this makes the brigadeiro creamier. Continue stirring until the mixture begins to pull away from the bottom of the pan, which typically takes around 8 minutes to cook.
- Place the warm brigadier onto a board and spread it with a spatula — alternatively, you can serve the brigadier in a bowl or a deep dish. Allow it to set and serve topped with cocoa nibs.
CAUTION REGARDING THE TABLE
The brigadier who serves on the board adopts a refined demeanor and looks elegant at the table, but be careful: use a serving board dedicated exclusively to cutting pastries and fruits. This way, you ensure that the brigadier does not pick up flavors of onion or garlic.
Cocina empotrada
If you are using an induction cooktop, choose power level 12 to make the brigadier.
